Past couple of years, after the COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating impact on our health, economy, and society, was challenging and unprecedented time for all of us. As if that was not enough, the sudden demise of Dr K K Kantha created a void for his patients, staff, family and friends, that will never get filled. Yet, in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties, his children are trying to keep his endeavours alive, by setting up this hospital, upholding the resilience, courage, and compassion, that describes Dr Kantha.

With heartfelt pride, I declare that in the new hospital, we have retained most of the old staff, who have worked tirelessly & selflessly with Dr Kantha over past several years and were under fear of losing their jobs. They have shown remarkable dedication, and professionalism, in adapting to the changing needs and demands of our situation. They are truly the heroes of this hospital, and I am honoured and delighted to work alongside them,

I am also grateful for our patients, who have entrusted us with their health and well-being. Since we do not have Urology Department yet, the hospital may not directly serve some of your (Dr Kantha’s patients’) current requirements, and we empathize, how stressful and scary Dr Kantha’s demise must be for many of you, but we appreciate your patience, cooperation, & feedback, and we hope to receive the same patronage. We would want to soon expand the services offered at the hospital and invite practitioners to join our mission. Please connect.

Prof Vinay Kantha Convention Hall

Choose your description for the saint and Professor Vinay K Kantha (July 17, 1950 - Dec 25, 2017), that suits the way you may have connected with him; He was Topper of Patna University, Teacher of Mathematics, Interdisciplinary Researcher (Linear Algebra & Economics), Writer, Educationist, Mentor & Guide, Patron of Art, Music, & Theatre, Oh! how many more hats he donned! .... no one can touch, move and inspire as many lives as he did.

This Convention Hall is dedicated to Prof Vinay Kantha the academician befitting the nature of its use, that is for academic & brainstorming sessions like Medical Seminars, CME Sessions, Doctors' Meets and even patient engagement events will be organized in this hall, in the auspices of Prof Vinay Kantha. Surely, we couldn't find a better name for it.
